Vincent Van Gogh : The Voices - Les voix - De stemmen

On Wednesday, May 21st, 2014 Rev. Luigi Davi (Petit-Wasmes), Jean-Claude Derudder (Mons), Jan Sablon (Sint-Niklaas) and Filip Depuydt (Frameries) got together at the recording studio at the PASS in Frameries.

Rev. Luigi Davi got in front of the camera to talk about the role and importance of Vincent Van Gogh for the protestant community of Petit-Wasmes. This presentation will soon be visible upon reservation in the Evangelic Protestant Temple of Petit-Wasmes.

Then it was Jean-Claude Derudder’s time to read the french version of a series of extracts of the letters Vincent Van Gogh wrote to his brother Theo while he lived in the Borinage, first as en Evangelist at Petit-Wasmes and later as a beginning artist in Cuesmes.

Finally Jan Sablon interpreted the same sequences first in the dutch, then the english language.

These recordings are due to be used for an audio-guidance during walking and cycling Van Gogh discovery tours through the Borinage.

Luigi Davi

Le mercredi 21 mai 2014, le Pasteur Luigi Davi (Petit-Wasmes), Jean-Claude Derudder (Mons), Jan Sablon (Sint-Nicolas) et Filip Depuydt (Frameries) se sont retrouvés dans le studio d’enregistrement du PASS à Frameries.

Le Pasteur Luigi Davi s’est mis devant la caméra pour parler du rôle et l’importance de Vincent Van Gogh pour la communauté Protestante de Petit-Wasmes. Cet exposé pourra prochainement être visionné, sur rendez-vous, au Temple Protestant Evangélique de Petit-Wasmes.

Ensuite, c’était au tour de Jean--Claude Derudder de lire la version francophone d’une série d’extraits des lettres que Vincent Van Gogh a adressé à son frère Theo lors de son séjour dans le Borinage ; d’abord comme Evangéliste à Petit-Wasmes, puis comme artiste débutant à Cuesmes.

Finalement, Jan Sablon a interprété les même séquences en néerlandais et en anglais.

Ces enregistrements sont destinés à la réalisation d’un audio-guidage pour des circuits de découverte, à pied et à vélo, des traces de Vincent Van Gogh dans le Borinage.

Op woensdag 21 mei 2014 kwamen Dominee Luigi Davi (Petit-Wasmes), Jean-Claude Derudder (Mons), Jan Sablon (Sint-Niklaas) and Filip Depuydt (Frameries) samen in de opnamestudio van het PASS in Frameries.

Dominee Luigi Davi verscheen voor de camera om te vertellen over de rol en het belang van Vincent Van Gogh voor de protestantse gemeenschap van Petit-Wasmes. Deze lezing zal binnenkort op afspraak te bekijken zijn in de Evangelische Protestantse Tempel van Petit-Wasmes.

Dan was het de beurt aan Jean-Claude Derudder om de franstalige versie in te lezen van een reeks uittreksels uit de brieven die Vincent Van Gogh schreef aan zijn broer Theo tijdens de periode die hij in de Borinage doorbracht ; eerst als Evangelist in Petit-Wasmes en later als beginnend kunstschilder in Cuesmes.

Tenslotte interpreteerde Jan Sablon dezelfde sequenties, eerst in de nederlandse, daarna in de engelse taal.

Deze opnames zijn bestemd voor het realiseren van audio-gidsen tijdens wandel- en fietstochten in het spoor van Vincent Van Gogh in de Borinage.

Hopelijk krijgt u binnenkort de kans om ze zelf ter plaatse uit te proberen !!!
