  April 1st, 2021   BRAKING NEWS   Vincent Van Gogh’s bicycle found in the Borinage !!!   It was always assumed that Vincent travelled from Brussels to the Borinage at the end of 1878 by train.  However, during recent renovation works at the Van Gogh House in Petit-Wasmes, where Vincent was hosted by Jean-Baptist Denis and his family, an old 19th century bicycle was found in a corner of the shed.     L'asbl "Marcasse et sa mémoire" 2.0    Le lundi 19 juin dernier s'est tenue la première Assemblée Générale de l'asbl Marcasse et sa mémoire "new look".  L'asbl créée par les propriétaires du charbonnage de Marcasse, Nadine Gravis et Riccardo Barberio, a été renforcée par une équipe de sympathisants motivés.
