ARTE are preparing a new documentary about Vincent Van Gogh

ARTE are working on a three-part documentary about rivalry in art. One segment will be 60 minutes long and will focus on the relationship between Vincent van Gogh and Paul Gaugin and the time they spent together in Arles. The production company is 3B Produktion in Berlin, Germany.

The center focus of our film is the common time van Gogh and Gauguin spent in Arles.  But there we will have some biographical sidesteps as well. To me the time in the Borinage seems to be crucial for van Gogh as a human being and a painter as well.
