CONCOURS EN VUE DE L’EDITION DE CARTES POSTALES :

 Van Gogh au Borinage

L'objectif est de valoriser le talent d'artistes (enfants et adultes) de la région ou d'ailleurs !

Pratiquement, le concours est donc ouvert à tous. Les dessins sélectionnés feront l'objet d'une publication sous forme de carte postale ou de signet. Ils sont à envoyer ou à déposer accompagnés d'un bulletin d'inscription complété à la Maison culturelle, 14, rue du Pont d'Arcole à 7340 Colfontaine le 15 avril 2016 au plus tard. Formats acceptés : A4, A5 et A6.

Les responsables prendront le plus grand soin des oeuvres. Toutefois, ils déclinent toute responsabilité en cas de détérioration, perte ou vol lors de l'envoi. Les dessins pourront être repris fin mai 2016. Non repris, ils seront considérés comme abandonnés. Les participants s'engagent à ne pas revendiquer de droits d'auteur.

Les cartes postales seront vendues à prix démocratique ; les bénéfices serviront à rééditer les cartes postales qui rencontrent le meilleur succès et à financer de nouveaux concours de photos ou dessins sur des thèmes en rapport avec Van Gogh.

Le jury sera composé des membres des commissions "patrimoine" et "arts plastiques" sous la présidence de notre Président de conseil d'orientation : Monsieur André Delvigne, photographe et art-thérapeute.

La Maison Van Gogh

C’est en mars 1879 que Vincent van Gogh évoque pour

la première fois la maison sise 81, rue du Petit-Wasmes, aujourd’hui rue Wilson à Colfontaine. La maison appartient à un boulanger du nom de Jean-Baptiste Denis et aura un rôle prépondérant dans le parcours de l’artiste. C’est là qu’il vit son « compagnonnage » avec les mineurs. Il en fera la thématique de ses premiers essais de dessin. C’est aussi dans cette maison qu’il écrit à son frère des lettres qui vont, comme ses lectures, orienter sa vie vers un destin artistique exceptionnel. La Maison Denis reste l’un des rares témoignages de la présence de Van Gogh dans le Borinage, et particulièrement à Wasmes (aujourd’hui Colfontaine).

Elle a fait l'objet d'une rénovation dans le cadre de Mons 2015, appartient à la Commune de Colfontaine et est actuellement gérée par le Centre culturel de Colfontaine.

La maison est ouverte tous les week-ends de 10h à 16h.

WEDSTRIJD VOOR DE UITGAVE VAN POSTKAARTEN:

Van Gogh in de Borinage

Het is de bedoeling om het artistieke talent van zowel kinderen als volwassenen, in de regio of elders, te valoriseren !

De wedstrijd staat open voor iedereen. Geselecteerde tekeningen zullen worden gepubliceerd als ansichtkaart of als bladwijzer.  Inzendingen dienen ten laatste op 15 april 2016, vergezeld van een ingevuld inschrijvingsformulier, te worden gestuurd naar het Maison Cultureelle, Rue du Pont d’Arcole 14 in 7340 Colfontaine (Belgiê). Geldige formaten: A4, A5 en A6.

De verantwoordelijken zullen de ingezonden werken met de grootste zorg behandelen.Zij kunnen echter niet verantwoordelijk worden gesteld voor schade, verlies of diefstal tijdens het transport. De tekeningen kunnen eind mei 2016  teruggevorderd worden. Niet opgehaalde werken zullen als verloren beschouwd worden. De deelnemers verbinden er zich toe geen aanspraak te kunnen maken op auteursrechten.

De ansichtkaarten zullen tegen een democratische prijs verkocht worden; de winst zal worden gebruikt voor de herdruk van de meest succesvolle kaarten en het financieren van de organisatie van nieuwe foto- of tekenwedstrijden over thema's die verband houden met Vincent Van Gogh.
De jury bestaat uit leden van de "erfgoed" en "beeldende kunst" commissies onder de leiding van de voorzitter van onze Begeleidingsraad, de Heer André Delvigne, fotograaf en creatief therapeut.

Het Van Gogh Huis

In maart 1879 verwijst Vincent van Gogh voor het eerst
naar het huis dat op Rue du Petit-Wasmes 81, nu Rue Wilson in Colfontaine, gelegen was. Het huis werd bewoond door het gezin van een boer, Jean-Baptiste Denis genaamd, en zal een doorslaggevende rol spelen in de carrière van de kunstenaar. Hij zal er zijn "vriendschap" met de mijnwerkers beleven. Dit zal het thema vormen voor zijn eerste tekenproeven. In dit huis schreef hij aan zijn broer brieven die, net als zijn lezingen, hem zullen leiden naar een uitzonderlijk artistiek lot.

Het Denis Huis blijft een van de zeldzame getuigenissen van de aanwezigheid van Van Gogh in de Borinage, meer bepaald

in Wasmes (vandaag Colfontaine)

Het heeft een grondige renovatie ondergaan als onderdeel van “Mons 2015”, is vandaag de eigendom van de gemeente Colfontaine, en wordt momenteel beheerd door het Cultuurcentrum van Colfontaine.

Het huis is ieder weekend geopend voor het publiek van 10u tot 16u.

CONTEST FOR POSTCARDS EDITION:

Van Gogh in the Borinage

The aim is to develop the artistic talent of both children and adults in the region or elsewhere!

The contest is open to everybody. Selected drawings will be published as postcards or bookmarks. Entries must be accompanied by a duly completed entry form to the Maison Culturelle, Rue du Pont d’Arcole 14 in 7340 Colfontaine (Belgium) on April 15^th, 2016 at the latest. Accepted formats: A4, A5 and A6.

The officials will take the greatest care of the works. However, they assume no responsibility for any damage, loss or theft during shipment. The drawings can be taken back at the end of May 2016. If not collected, they will be considered as abandoned. Participants cannot claim any copyright.

The postcards will be sold at an affordable price; profits will be used to reprint the most successful cards and to finance new photo or drawing contests on Van Gogh related themes.

The jury consists of members of the "heritage" and "plastic arts" committees under the chairmanship of the President of our guidance council, Mr. André Delvigne, photographer and art therapist.

The Van Gogh House

In March 1879, Vincent van Gogh refers for
the first time to the house located 81 Rue du Petit-Wasmes, today Rue Wilson in Colfontaine. The house belongs to a farmer named Jean-Baptiste Denis and will have a leading role in the artist's career. That’s where he lived his "friendship" with the miners. This will become the theme of his first drawing tests. It is in this house that he wrote letters to his brother that, just as his lectures, lead to an exceptional artistic destiny. The Denis House remains one of the rare testimonies of Van Gogh’s presence in the Borinage, especially in Wasmes

(today Colfontaine)

The house has undergone a thorough renovation as part of “Mons 2015”, is the property of the Municipality of Colfontaine and is currently managed by the Colfontaine Cultural Centre.

The house is open to the public every weekend from 10am to 4pm.

Entrance fee : 2 € ; free of charge for children, the inhabitants of Colfontaine en every 1^st Sunday of the month.
